1. Hold down the Control Key while turning the mouse wheel to increase or decrease the size of the text on the webpage (depending which way you turn the mouse wheel).  This little trick also works with Microsoft Word. You won’t notice any change at some websites because this feature is disabled by the website authors.  The smaller the text size, the more of the page you will see.
    
2. Hold down the Shift key while turning the mouse wheel slowly to go backward to the previous page or go forward to the next page (depending which way you turn the mouse wheel).  Some websites “trap” you at their site and the only way you can go back is by pressing the little down arrow next to the word Back (in the Standard Buttons toolbar) and selecting a previous page.
3. Click the mouse wheel once (yes – it does click).  Your cursor turns into an up and down arrow. Now move your mouse toward the top of the screen or toward the bottom of the screen slowly to automatically scroll.  This also works with Microsoft word and many other applications.  (Check out this scroll mouse at this cool site – it costs $199 dollars – has 1,200 individually hand-set Swarovski crystals - http://www.computergear.com/jewscrolmous.html)
    
4. Press F11 – in the top row of F-Keys.  You will get a full screen version of your page.  Press F-11 again to return you normal view.  This is nice if you want to read quickly see more of the webpage without scrolling.
    
5. Press F5 to refresh a page.  Your page will be downloaded with the latest information. 
   Shift + F5 to refresh a web page and insures that no content is pulled from the cache.  (Note:  F5 alone refreshes the web page but grabs content from the cache if it available).
   These shortcuts are great if you’re at the weather page and want to get the latest updated information.

6. Press Alt-Home to go quickly to your home page.  (My home page is google.com since I’m always searching for something).
    
7. Open a link in a new window by clicking the RIGHT mouse button and clicking on Open in New Window.  This is neat when you want to keep the current website you are viewing on the screen.
    
8. Press Home and End to go to the beginning and end (top and bottom) of a webpage.  Great for long web pages. 
    
9. Press Escape to stop loading a page.  (No more looking for that elusive Stop button!)  This also stops music which automatically begins playing when you visit a site (is that ever annoying!).  It doesn’t stop Flash presentations, however.
    
10. Press Alt-D to select the text in the Address Bar.  (Now read the next one!)
     
11. Type the first part of a web address in the Address Bar – then press Ctrl-Enter.  The www. and .com will automatically be added to the address and you will go there.  Example:  type wcco, then press Ctrl-Enter.  You will go to http://wcco.com
    Note – this only works with .com websites.
     
12. Alt +Left Arrow:  Go back to last page
    Alt +Right Arrow:  Go Forward to the next page
    Note:  You can also hold down the shift key and turn the mouse wheel up or down to go backward or forward.
     
13. Spacebar – scroll down the webpage
    Shift+Spacebar – Scroll up the webpage
     
14. Ctrl + D:  Add the site you are at to your favorites
    Shift + Click on the Organize Favorites menu item.  (Note:  first click on the Favorites menu, then hold down the Shift key and click on Organize Favorites).  This will open your favorites in a folder window.  This is great way to work on and organize you favorites
     
15. Shift +F10:  Performs a Right-Click
