Greetings from the Literacy Minnesota Professional Issues Committee!

 

 

Do you have a great idea you would like to share with your ABE colleagues? 

 

Are you looking for some new ideas for your ABE class or program?

 

The Literacy Minnesota Professional Issues Committee has developed a vehicle for sharing promising practices in the ABE field.

 

To submit your promising practice, follow these simple steps:

1. Click here to download the Promising Practices template. (Or open the document attached!)

2. Complete the user-friendly Microsoft Word form.

3. Save your completed form with the Promising Practice title as the document name.

4. Send your submission electronically to profissues@literacyminnesota.org by attaching your completed form along with any supplemental materials.

 

The Professional Issues Committee will review all submissions.  If your promising practice is published on the Literacy Minnesota Web site, you will:

 

• Earn 3 CEU’s for your first submission in the calendar year

• Be entered into the annual drawing for a prize at the Summer Institute

• Have the opportunity to be selected as the monthly featured submission to receive $20 gift certificate

• Be recognized in an e-mail to your supervisor and other ABE professionals

We are counting on your participation to build this valuable online tool for resource-sharing among ABE practitioners throughout Minnesota.  There is the potential for thousands of promising practices to be available to all, but you must submit your idea.  It all starts with you!
