Southwest Minnesota Adult Basic Education

GED Graduation May 2007
 

The SW ABE graduated 16 students at a ceremony on May 15, 2007 at the Granite Falls campus of Minnesota West Community and Technical College.

The Graduation Address was given by Dennis Hampel, the Dean of Careers and Technical Programs at Minnesota West Community and Technical College in Jackson, MN.  He presented an inspiring message to the graduates.  We congratulate these graduates on their fine accomplishment!

Student speakers included Kimberley Bellah, Jacqueline Buchanan, Elsa Eischens, Orlando J. Escareno, Jr., Jessica Hatton, Angela Schaffer, and David Swanson.

Participating in the program were Jennifer Rud, Master of Ceremonies and SW ABE Granite Falls Regional Director, and the GED Teachers of each of the SW ABE Districts.

We would like to acknowledge the efforts of our teachers and thank them for all of their help in guiding these students to accomplish so much.
